Class Types and Levels
ADVANCED:
This advanced-level class is designed for participants who are ready to train at their highest capability. Focusing on all major symptoms of Parkinson’s, the class integrates High Intensity Functional Intervals (HIFI) to build both strength and cardiovascular endurance. Participants will aim to maintain heart rates around 70% of their maximum throughout most of the session.
Each workout includes:
-
Powerful functional movement sequences
-
Jumping
-
Floor exercises
-
Visualization drills for cognitive engagement
-
Boxing for coordination, speed, and rhythm
This class is for individuals who are mobile, motivated, and ready to push their physical and mental limits — all in a supportive, expert-led environment.

INTERMEDIATE:
This class provides a balanced, adaptable approach to Parkinson’s exercise, focusing on functional movement and symptom management. Workouts are structured around High Intensity Functional Intervals (HIFI), tailored to meet each participant at their current ability level, with themes that rotate monthly for variety and focus.
What to expect:
-
Standing and assisted options for every exercise
-
No floor work
-
Emphasis on improving strength, coordination, balance, and endurance
-
Boxing and cognitive visualization exercises included in every class
Ideal for individuals looking to stay challenged while having the freedom to modify movements as needed. Supportive standing is encouraged when possible.
BASIC:
This class is a seated exercise class that includes some standing movements, designed specifically for individuals who prefer or require additional physical support while staying active. The goal of this class is to safely encourage participants to rise out of the chair and engage in full-body movement. This class targets full-body strength, joint mobility, circulation, posture, and coordination — all from the safety of a sturdy chair.
Class components include:
-
Upper and lower body movements
-
Gentle resistance training
-
Rhythmic and cognitive drills
-
Visualization and breathwork
-
Light boxing for coordination and mental sharpness
This class empowers participants to stay active, build confidence, and maintain functional independence — all in a safe, welcoming environment.
